Maintenance Technician

Full-time position, Monday to Thursday – day or evening shift available
Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as equipment improvements, in order to ensure operational continuity, safety, and equipment performance.
Maintenance Technician Job Description
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to established schedules
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic breakdowns
- Repair, adjust, and replace defective components
- Respond quickly to service calls and maintenance emergencies
- Participate in the installation and setup of new equipment
- Maintain maintenance records
- Comply with occupational health and safety standards as well as internal procedures
Required Skills
- Training in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry experience is an asset)
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Salary and Conditions
- Permanent full-time positions (Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) or (Evening shift: 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM)
- Salary to be discussed
- 4-day work schedule (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekly pay
