HR Business Partner Job Description

• Advise and support managers in the day-to-day management of their teams, including performance management, coaching, and employee relations.
• Participate in workforce planning and team organization.
• Ensure the consistent implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes.
• Support the management of complex employee relations cases, including discipline, health-related matters, workplace accommodations, and performance management.
• Lead the people-related aspects of organizational transformation and change initiatives.
• Guide managers through the planning, communication, and implementation of organizational transitions.
• Collaborate with the Employee Experience and HR Marketing teams to encourage engagement and adoption of new practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with required professional licenses and practice permits.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition specialists and the Legal team as needed.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong ability to build trusted relationships and positively influence others.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (mandatory)
• Membership with the CRHA (Chartered Human Resources Professional) designation is considered an asset.
