Ideal Can is seeking a strategic and collaborative HR Business Partner to support leaders and drive human resources initiatives across the organization. This role contributes to organizational performance by aligning HR practices with business objectives and promoting a strong workplace culture.
HR Business Partner Job Description
- Advise and support managers in the day-to-day management of their teams, including performance management, coaching, and employee relations.
- Participate in workforce planning and team organization.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes.
- Support the management of complex employee relations cases, including discipline, health-related matters, workplace accommodations, and performance management.
- Lead the people-related aspects of organizational transformation and change initiatives.
- Guide managers through the planning, communication, and implementation of organizational transitions.
- Collaborate with the Employee Experience and HR Marketing teams to encourage engagement and adoption of new practices.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with required professional licenses and practice permits.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition specialists and the Legal team as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships and positively influence others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (mandatory)
- Membership with the CRHA (Chartered Human Resources Professional) designation is considered an asset.
